Brass Instrument Components can suffer from a build up of 'gunge' and it is often not appreciated that this can be a breeding ground for all kinds of harmful bacteria. This is especially significant when instruments are shared or have been laid up over holiday times.

Steiner Music's Brass Instrument Soap is deal for instrument bath time or washing those slides and other components which have accumulated dirt, grime, grease, oils and sludge after hours of playing.

120ML size - useful for cleaning whole instrument.

Dilute the phosphate free, biodegradable, low foaming concentrated liquid in warm water - 5 capfuls to every 1 litre of water. Avoid the water being too hot when cleaning lacquered instruments. On unlacquered instruments Steiner Brass Soap will also help remove dark oxides. Steiner Brass Soap may be used on all of the usual metals which wind instruments are made from.
