ROTARY VALVE BARITONE HORN LUBRICANT OIL 60ML BY STEINER MUSIC
We
don't believe that a single oil can meet every requirement. Please
choose the oil to suit your instrument components. Our
REGULAR oil is designed for medium or average fitting valves, our
CLASSIC oil is for those valves which have a greater tolerance or are
looser Our LIGHT oil is for those valves which are of a very close or tight
fit
Advice: Lubricating Rotary Valve Instruments
Do bear in mind that it will not just be enough to oil the valve rotor on your instrument. A higher viscosity Bearing and Linkage Oil
should be applied to the bearings at the top and bottom of the rotor
spindle, under the valve caps. This oil is also suitable for mechanical
actions/linkages. Tuning Slide Grease or Tuning Slide Oil should be applied to clean slide legs. Where the instrument has ball-joint linkages then a higher viscosity Ball Joint Oil
will be more effective than Bearing Oil. Steiner Music produces each of
these required lubricants with most of them in various grades according
to valve condition. Please see separate listings.
Steiner’s
large and comprehensive lubricant range provides Musicians with
meticulously manufactured products designed at specific calibrated
viscosities appropriate to the widest range of individual instrument
requirements. They have been specially developed to provide good
lubricity and high film strength, as well as low evaporation, and
resistance to emulsion formation.
Steiner
Music manufactures the largest range of specialist musical instrument
lubricants in the United Kingdom. The needs of Musicians in relation to
the functioning of their instruments have been set alongside the skills
of Tribologists and Oil Analysis Technicians to produce the high-grade
products now in demand worldwide.
(Note: All Steiner Music
bottle products comply with the requirements of ECHA CLP in relation to
liquid contents, packaging and labelling.)
